My name is Kirsten. I live in a small town in East Sussex, England with my husband, Andrew, and our two perfect gifts- Cale (6), and Nol (3). We also have Vader (as in Darth Vader), our Scottish Terrier (5) and a Syrian Hamster named Beans.

We are originally from South Africa (except for Beans) and moved over to the UK last year (2021).

I am a bibliophile, logophile, ecclesiophile, coimetrophile, pluviophile and melophile.

You’ll usually find me doing one of the following:

• spending time with family and friends
• cosying up with my nose stuck in a book
• watching a Disney or Marvel movie, a True Crime documentary, a home renovation show, or a game/quiz show
• building houses on The Sims
• staring up at the moon and stars
• sleeping

I used to work in ELT publishing full-time as a Digital Director but because of struggles with an auto-immune condition, I have taken a step back from that and now do some freelance editing as and when my capacity allows for it.

All in all, I’m just trying to navigate my way through life as a mom, wife, worker, friend, and lover of Jesus.

My favourite Bible verse is Philippians 1vs6:
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
